Senior Pastor
Pastor Joe answered the call to full time ministry in 1999. Colossians 2:2-3 My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, 3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. His desire is to do the will of God, in the power of the Holy Spirt by the name of Jesus. His passion is to help people discover Jesus as Lord and Savior. To guide believers into being mature disciples of Jesus and an active part of the Body of Believers.

Pastor Joe became an assistant pastor at Magnolia Wesleyan in Santee, CA. in 2000. In 2001 along with his wife Kim they planted Amazing Faith Christian Fellowship in the backyard of their home in Poway, CA on Nov. 11. The desire that God put on their heart as church planters was to develop a body of believers that was similar to the body of believers in Acts 2:42-47.

Joe and Kim were married in 1992. Their son Anthony was born in 1998.

He enjoys fishing, the outdoors and a broad base of music.

Melissa Jackson
Assistant Pastor
Melissa is a California Native, born in El Cajon during the 1970’s. She was baptized in the Catholic Church at the age of 25 and from that time on has been an active member in the Christian Community. Melissa and her husband, Pastor Jon Jackson, have been married since 1996 and have two sons, Ethan and Clayton. Her family became members of Amazing Faith Christian Fellowship in 2007 and she became an assistant pastor in 2014. She has been involved with the youth ministry for many years and looks forward to continuing on in guiding them to love our Savior. Melissa also enjoys preaching, organizing church events, and spending time with people. In her spare time, she likes to spend it either camping; working in her garden; doing crafts; playing card or board games; or relaxing with family and friends.

Jon Jackson
Assistant Pastor
Jon was born in 1968 in Chula Vista, CA and was raised in a strong Christian home within the Catholic Church. He has been married since 1996 to Pastor Melissa Jackson. Jon and Melissa are parents to their two sons, Ethan and Clayton. Jon and his family became members of Amazing Faith Christian Fellowship in 2007. In that same year, while on a mission trip to Africa, Jon accepted God’s call into ministry. In 2013, Jon became an assistant pastor at Amazing Faith. Jon has been on several mission trips and has a heart for those who have not yet found Christ. In Jon’s spare time, he enjoys golfing, shooting, fishing, and spending time with family.
